Bully Walkthrough Part 13: Help Gary/Russell In The Hole (Russell Northrop Boss Fight)
0Jimmy finds Gary in the boys' dorm with two getting into another arguement as Jimmy still refuses to help Gary take over Bullworth and is simply interested in bringing some order to the academy by keeping its most destructive elements in line, with Gary considering Jimmy to be a "would-be tough guy" because of his lack of actual ambition. However, Gary still convinces Jimmy to follow him to the school basement with two eventually reaching the basement's sewer drainage outlet whose circular shape gained it the nickname "The Hole", with the area apparently serving as the academy's proving ground for the students' fighting prowess. As Jimmy descends into the outlet, leaders of Bullworth's four main students' cliques and their lieutenants arrive, with Gary revealing his true colors; As sociopathic manipulator, he assumed that Jimmy will eventually betray him and thus wants to remove that possibility, having lured him to The Hole in order to pit him against Russell, whom Gary has already convinced that Jimmy had backtalked about his family, enraging the main bully of the campus enough to agree to fight Jimmy in order to exact revenge, with Gary's plan being to have Russell beat Jimmy up in front of all clique leaders, ensuring that even if Jimmy survives, he will become an social outcast and thus not a threat to his own plans. With no other choice and everyone watching, Jimmy engages Russell in an brawl and ultimately wins, knocking the larger student out. However, Gary, who was also watching the fight, is unconcerned, even as his and Jimmy's friendship has been irrepairably destroyed as Gary has fully revealed his plan to take the academy over. With the spectators leaving, Russell regains consciousness, with Jimmy taking the opportunity to talk to him, clarifying that Gary had tricked him and convincing him to stop picking on the weaker students, instead urging him to focus his bullying on those who really deserve it and also, to leave both him and Pete alone, with Russell agreeing and effectively becoming Jimmy's ally.
Soon after the events in The Hole, Jimmy runs into Dr. Crabblesnitch who, aware that Jimmy is still getting into trouble and had allegedly spread rumors about him, assigns him a kitchen duty in the cafetaria to "teach him some humility". As Crabblesnitch walks off, Jimmy is approached by one of the Preppies who saw his fight with Russell and told that the clique is interested in meeting him, thus inviting him to the boxing club in Bullworth Town frequented by the Preppies...
