0At the dorm, Jimmy walks in as Gary is entertaining himself by once again picking on Pete, this time as he is trying to watch an swimming event on the dorm's communal TV, insinuating that Pete is either fantasizing about the female swimmers or that he is an homosexual interested in male swimmers. As Jimmy intervenes, Algie walks in and asks him for another favor; Another nerd named Bucky had recently went to the campus' garage to get some parts for his science project but failed to return, prompting fears that the bullies working for Russell may have caught up to him. While Jimmy is still unsympathetic to the Nerds' struggles as the lowest-ranking clique in Bullworth's social pecking order, Gary encourages him to help Bucky, calculating that it will show Russell's crew that they aren't as untouchable as they may think they are and will serve as an stepping stone towards eventually conquering main student cliques of Bullworth and with them, the school, although Jimmy openly states that he doesn't share Gary's interest in taking the academy over. Still, he heads over to the garage in order to track Bucky down, ultimately discovering that Bucky never even made it to the garage before bullies cornered and attacked him, forcing Jimmy to fight them off and help Bucky both get into the garage and escape once he gets what he needs. Grateful for his assistance, Bucky pays Jimmy back by giving him an skateboard which he found nearby...
