In episode twenty-three, we experience significant early successes advancing on Italian positions in Sicily, though the cliffs, mines, and Italian MG fire deal us a not-insignificant number of casualties as well. Nevertheless, we Cottonbalers are a sturdy breed, and we press forward relentlessly!
Burden of Command is a platoon-level roleplaying game where we take on the role of an officer in the United States Army commanding a platoon in the 7th Infantry Regiment ("The Cottonbalers") during World War Two. This game uses WW2 as a setting, but in addition to a tactical game, it's a roleplaying game where your personality and how you interact with the officers around you have a major impact in your personal story and the stories of the troops serving under and alongside you. In this run, I'll be roleplaying a sarcastic reservist who loves hearing himself talk and always looks after his troops.
