In episode four, we take part in our first field exercise as a full company, attempting to seize a crossroads and the high ground from an enemy well-positioned on the high ground. It’s a difficult, dangerous mission, but we press forward, taking positions, revealing, suppressing, ans capturing enemy units, and doing our best to win in a difficult situation.
Burden of Command us a platoon-level roleplaying game where we take on the role of an officer in the United States Army commanding a platoon in the 7th Infantry Regiment ("The Cottonbalers") during World War Two. This game uses WW2 as a setting, but in addition to a tactical game, it's a roleplaying game where your personality and how you interact with the officers around you have a major impact in your personal story and the stories of the troops serving under and alongside you. In this run, I'll be roleplaying a sarcastic reservist who loves hearing himself talk and always looks after his troops.
