The Round Valley Massacres of 1856–1859 were acts of genocide committed by early American settlers of California, with cooperation and funding from the state government against the Yuki Tribe of Round Valley.
Over 1000 Yuki were killed in a 3 year period.
Along with Round Valley, an additional 30 recorded genocidal events occured during the California Gold Rush.
