Buto is a volumetric fog and volumetric lighting system for Unity that renders volumetric fog in world space using a frustum-aligned voxel buffer.

In this example, I use Buto to render volumetric fog in a basic scene. I want the fog that is in shadow to be blue, so I use the Color Override option to tint it blue. Similarly, I want the fog that is not in shadow to be orange. So, I use the Color Override option to tint the lit fog to an orange color. To constrain the fog to a region, I use an Exclusive Fog Density Mask. This one is a spherical shape. The falloff for the fog density mask is set to 0, so the mask instantly cuts off the fog outside of the mask region. Instead, I increase the falloff so that the fog fades out gradually as it gets further from the mask surface.
