Tiger sold more than 25 million handheld games during this era. But how did Tiger move that many units despite fierce portable competition like Sega’s Game Gear and even the original Nintendo Game Boy? Well it definitely wasn’t the quality of the games. It was actually well calculated and borderline sleazy marketing tactics that got the job done.
