Websites like BuzzFeed and CBR apparently use bots to generate, well, clickbait. BuzzFeed is confirmed to have custom "automation tools" that collects visitor data to create content that users will click on. So do these news outlets actually believe the ridiculous stories they put out, or are journalists just following their robot overlord's marching orders?
