Today, Legacy of Lupin continues with a review and retrospective of Bye Bye, Lady Liberty. TMS reran Lupin III Part 2 in 1988 and it received great ratings, so of course, they wanted to bring Lupin back to television. Rather than a brand new series, however, they went with a TV special instead — which ended up spawning a yearly tradition for over 20 years. Does this one still hold up? Let's see!
