With the cancellation of Lupin VIII, TMS partnered up with Yomiuri TV again to release another Lupin TV show. With Lupin donning a pink jacket this time, it was very colorful and very 80s. Today it's sometimes dismissed or ridiculed as being too silly, too dated, too poorly animated, and not as "cool" as the other Lupin projects.
