C11v3's Considerations: On Roles (CS:GO)
7WARNING: Roles NEVER should limit what you can do, and every player can play any role IF THE SITUATION CALLS FOR IT. That's not what roles mean!!!!
My considerations on roles in counter-strike, and how I break down why roles exist, and what I term the "LMS priority" list.
I also talk about an interesting competing theory about NOT having your most aggressive player be your entry fragger, but having him go second, so you're always getting the trade. And that way your most aggressive player isn't being so aggressive that they're dying for naught, but just focused on trading your methodical entry fragger who is maybe the second most aggressive player on your team: but is careful enough not to get needlessly picked when working up into a contested area.
