AKA. Hop (Italian version). This is a bizarre mix of Smurfs: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle and a sports game. Not joking. You have to hit up and down continuously in order to jump, the faster and longer you do it, the further you will go, as shown by the bar in the status panel. Took me a while to get to grips with the awkward controls. I eventually found that if you tap up a few times, THEN you can do the bigger jumps, otherwise you will only go forward one step at a time.

You also have a certain amount of magic, which is your energy, depleted by contact with any of the baddies. Falling into water, stalagmites/stalactites, mushrooms and even BUSHES equals certain death.

The objective is to collect four items and then get back to your little shack. I assume what you've collected are presents for your family members. You can also collect diamonds and irons (?) for points, though this is optional.

You might want to mute the sound as the music gets seriously annoying after a while.

I used save-states to get me through it quicker and eventually infinite magic.

Released in 1985 by Reelax Games / Wordlight Ltd. (see also Stockade) and programmed by who knows?
