I had this back in the day on cartridge and my brother managed to actually beat it without cheats. This time round I get help from save-states.

The game itself plays more like a console platformer than the previous one. Its (unintentional?) comical feel is probably due to being created by some of the boys from Gremlin Graphics, which makes it stand out from the other versions. Robocop bounces and slides all over the place, which can be awkward at times.

In this NTSC-fix (thanks to these guys: https://csdb.dk/release/?id=32799) the graphics are more colourful and it runs at the smoother 60FPS. I've also added some speech from the movie into parts of the game. See the timeline below for more info:

0:09 Two-player-only start screen
0:13 Outside Nuke Laboratory (with titlescreen music)
1:25 End-of-level status (I've cut these sequences out for the rest of the game)
