Improved version from the original CP Verlag release with different levels. I found a Magic Disk document from a ROM online and translated it from German to English:
“Do you know Henry? No? It doesn't matter, because now you're Henry. Henry is the hero of the game UNDERGROUND, and as befits a real game hero, Henry also has a task.

Henry's task is to collect all the stones marked EXIT. When all EXIT's have been collected on a screen, Henry advances to the next level. When we've completed 8 screens, our hero is also done and he can take a little breather while the next level is loaded from disk (8 screens per level and 26 levels per disk makes a total of 200 screens per disk!!!).

A screen has the following elements:

Earth: No problem for Henry, but holds back rocks and Willy's.
Stones: Always fall down until they hit an obstacle.
Walls: Cannot be moved by anything or anyone.
Exits: Like walls, but Henry can collect them.
Beds: Like exits, but when Henry collects one, Willy and Fred sleep for a set amount of time.
Willy: The Willy's run through the screens according to a certain system and are absolutely deadly for Henry.
Fred: Not to be confused with a similar genus where the first name is prefixed with "maniac"...! Like Willy's, Freds follow Henry directly and can traverse the earth.

The player loses a life if...
Henry, his character, is killed by a rock.
Henry gets caught by Willy or Fred.
the bonus has expired.

When all lives are gone, the game is over. If you get a high score, you have the option of adding yourself to a high-score list that is saved.

If Henry locks himself up during his underground escapades, pressing RUN-STOP resets the bonus to zero, Henry loses one of his lives and can start all over again on this screen.

You can access the game from the opening credits by pressing the joystick button (Port #2). If you move the joystick to the side, "Level Editor" appears in the title screen. Pressing the fire button takes you to the editor, where you can either change existing levels or create completely new levels. In the editor, a complete level, i.e. 8 individual screens, is always changed at once...

Once again we have reached the end of a guide. Henry, Willy and Fred are already in their starting blocks and it would be more than impolite to make them wait there any longer. That's why the motto is: Invite UNDERGROUND immediately and try it out. Have fun!”
