Cabernet - Demo Playthrough
23A demo playthrough of Cabernet, an upcoming narrative game where you play as Liza who kicked the bucket before the game even begins and now wakes up as a vampire with a new lease on "life".
Looks a bit interesting and seems like it will have multiple endings to check out. My only real criticism is it seems to push the player towards the options that boost humanity as these largely are choices that improve your relationship with other vampires (except for one that appears to grant a small amount of nihilism from a comment they like). You also have stats that open chat options which grant XP to level up and invest more points. I'm not sure if there are choices that can get you killed but that's why I'll be testing that for science.
Cabernet releases February 20th.
