For this next one, I wanted to highlight two skills that will be nasty surprises for the denizens of the dungeon that stand in your way, Cahara’s En Garde Skill and Darce’s Counter Skill

Cahara’s En garde skill makes it so that the player enters an offensive posture while moving forward. If you attack an enemy like this gives you an extra first turn to get a sneak attack in, granting a free turn at the start of the fight.

Where it gets really interesting is if you couple this with the white angel soul stone, which will give you an extra turn. So together the en garde skill and the white angel soul stone will give you a full 3 turn before the enemy can even react. I found this to be specially useful for solo runs dealing with the moonless guards in the guantlet, since it gives you enough damage output to take them down before they can even attack you
