There are no stashes in Dead City, so I took two backpacks and placed them on the ground near the Trader. One for all my supplies and loot and another one for excess weapons that I looted. It's sometimes good to stash one of each weapon types, in case you get a job to find a specific weapon and you have it in stock ready to get your reward. I also go to the Party HQ building where there are some Monolith and Bandit attacks and fresh loot.
