Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (Steam) running at 70% render resolution at 1920x1080 on MacBook Air 2020 512GB with 8GB RAM and 8 GPU cores. I put the rest of the texture and shadow settings at High, and I think this represents a decent balance between performance and image quality hitting between 40-60 FPS.

I intentionally left in the multiplayer search near the end. This shows that in December 2020 there really isn't a way to get a public multiplayer game on macOS. Steamcharts player count of this time shows a peak of 6583 players, and I imagine most of these are playing multiplayer on Windows. Multiplayer search was conducted in the UK, Europe.
