Call of Duty: Ghosts at E3 - Don't Get Attached to the Dog
Call of Duty: Ghosts from Activision was what Xbox used to show off the power of next-gen, and with good reason. The new engine was totally rebuilt, with real time tessellation, adding more polygons to shapes as the camera approaches, smoothing out edges and shaders. Allegedly, it makes it impossibly to see pixelated blurs, leaving only high quality renderings.
The famed dog, Riley, can be controlled during single player through the use of a vibrating collar and remote camera. Rather than going with a "guns blazing" model, the soldiers in this game are more covert and stealthy, which should be noted for players adept to either style of gameplay. The technology is also said to be based like real military technologies, and heavily realistic.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be out for PC, PS3, and XBox 360 November 5, 2013. The game will be released for next-gen models sometime after that.
My advice...do not get attached to the dog.
