The HG40 is by no means a meta weapon. It does have good range and it's dps makes more sense at that mid range. So it almost acts as an assault rifle within the smg class.

It's rate of fire is very slow, so strafing and tracking targets are imperative to get this weapon to succeed. Most submachine guns are spray DPS type weapons. This one is more controllable, so headshots are important to increase dps. But missed shots with this weapon are going to get you killed. So don't miss.

This was a ranked game somewhere between veteran and elite level competition. After a few games testing the weapon out. It all came together for this match and the HG40 does good in the open spaces on this map.
