Call OF Duty Modern Warfare 2 - part 1
3Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It was released in 2009 as the sixth installment in the Call of Duty series and is a direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The game's campaign follows the story of a U.S. Army Ranger named Private First Class Joseph Allen as he participates in a series of missions alongside Task Force 141, a special forces unit tasked with stopping a Russian Ultranationalist terrorist named Vladimir Makarov. The campaign is set in various locations around the world, including Afghanistan, Brazil, and Russia.
In addition to the campaign, Modern Warfare 2 also features a multiplayer mode, which allows players to compete against each other in various game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Capture the Flag. The game also introduces a new mode called Special Ops, which consists of cooperative missions that can be played either alone or with a friend.
Modern Warfare 2 was praised for its campaign's cinematic and immersive storytelling, intense action sequences, and memorable characters. The multiplayer mode was also well-received for its fast-paced gameplay, diverse map design, and wide range of customizable weapons and equipment.
However, the game also generated controversy for its inclusion of a mission called "No Russian," in which the player takes part in a terrorist attack on an airport.
