Call of Juarez | Xbox 360 | 1440p60 | Longplay Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary
Full game longplay of Call of Juarez, by Techland, of a distinct Xbox 360 version of the game, released in 2007 for Xbox 360. Original game was released in 2006 for the PC, utlizing DX10 on Windows Vista systems. Here played on a real X360 hardware, at 1080p internal display mode, and recorded at 1440p60 H.265 NVENC, with Capture Card internally set at 120 fps, to smoothe out the timeframes. Game itself runs at unlocked fps, with values circa 30 fps most of the time, with limited parts of the game running at up to 45-50 fps.
Note: this is the Xbox 360, which was actually rebuild from the PC version, with some major changes in level layout, scripts, pace of action, with some more graphical improvements compared to the PC version. There is a 2xMSAA enabled as far as my eyes could see. Several of the Billy's levels were rebuild, to add in more chase scenes, more action oriented, with less focus on stealth overall. Also, on Xbox 360 health regenerates automatically, like in CoD 2. There were standard health levels and first aid kits on PC. Funny thing, devs left in those first aid kits, but they have literally no use. xD
Call of Juarez is a first-person shooter in which the player controls alternating protagonists - Billy 'Candle' and Ray McCall, each of whom has a different style of gameplay. Billy's levels are partially stealth-based, whereas Ray's are more traditional shoot 'em ups.
Although the style of play for each character is different, controlling them is broadly similar. Each shares an identical HUD, with the same information available to the player. Both can single-wield or dual wield handguns and single-wield other weapons, such as rifles.[8] Both can also interact with certain objects, such as health pick-ups (in the Xbox 360 version, health automatically regenerates over time), ammo, and weaponry. Both characters can also throw dynamite and can start fires by throwing or shooting oil lamps. Both are capable of hand-to-hand combat, although Ray is able to pick up items such as chairs, and either throw them at enemies or use them as melee weapons. Both can also ride horses, from which they can shoot and enter gallop mode. Gallop mode can only be maintained for a certain amount of time before the horse becomes fatigued.
