My Bandit relations had dropped to 222 and down to -828 with the Loner Faction. That meant it would only take some event to lower that score by 172 points which would make my Companions enemies to the Bandits even if my personal score still kept them personally as allies. When leaving the Dark Valley with my Companions, I met a group of Mercenaries. Apparently, I had three Bandit Companions assigned to me related to a mission but up to this point, I had thought those Bandits were waiting for me to meet up with them in Garbage. In the Mercenaries efforts to kill the three Bandits among my men, two Loners were killed by friendly fire. At this point I considered redoing things from my last save, but I decided to press on to Garbage. We arrived in Garbage and there was a Pseudogiant near the eastern pile. As I was placing my men in the Flea Market cellar, a Psi Storm hit which was perfect timing. Unfortunately, there was a dead spot or lack of shelter coverage ( the other NPCs might have pushed him partially through the wall ) and one more Companion was killed. I had now lost 3 Loners in a very short period of time.
