The squad of Freedom soldiers that had entered the Dark Valley from Garbage, decided to camp out in a grove of trees and bushes. It was called Controller's Grove, since it was often favored by Controllers and Burers, and was an area of caution, on the path of the level changer. I had counted at least five Freedom soldiers, but after some Flesh and at least one zombified Stalker attack, I didn't see more than three at a time.

To the south, a pack of Pseudodogs ran around the field just outsdie the south gate. Generally, I may Ieave some low-threat mutants occupy some camps. If someone else, man or mutant enters their camp, they make enough noise to warn me. If they weren't there, it's much easier for an enemy Faction to enter our territory.

When I saw the Dutyer had survived from his attack at the Old Warehouse, I checked my PDA for his allies. Duty had no allies that would prevent me from killing him, without change to the Faction relations. The Dutyer ran through the Coal Chute. He was headed straight to the Freedom at the Controller's Grove. Maybe I wouldn't have to worry about the Dutyer escaping the Dark Valley. I don't know why everyone finds the Old Warehouse so interesting.
