I searched every to see if I was going to be able to sneak past with just my Corsair H60 when I switched to the i9 10900K, no answer so for the few people like me I just wanted to share the results. Now that I've experienced an i9 my next Intel purchase will be another chip in the same class, and I will be elevating my AMD choices to the same thing with the Ryzen 9 5900X or their next generation chip when available.

The Corsair H150i Elite Capellix was one of the purchases that I will not regret spending the money on after seeing the results. As you can see after a few hours of gameplay I threw on the overlay and maintained sub 60C temps my entire playthrough at the stock 4.9Ghz. The one time I ever reached 70C was in Modern Warfare in windowed mode while something else was pulling resources at the same time, the game was running at the described 5.1Ghz at the time as well.

I figured I would need a new cooler but with temperatures around 65-75C while gaming on an i7 10700K I thought , maybe the same cooler would keep this chip respectable lol.
