Having covered FFVII to FFX in my Attack Only adventures, I decided to go back to a game whose system is pretty unique in the franchise which I had only played once before in 2017 with The Zodiac Age. My urge to play the game again had been slowly building, having been a huge fan of its world, overall gameplay and content package. So it felt only right to ask that classic question once again - Can I beat FFXII using only the attack command?
As always, I began creating this series having only gotten 4-6 hours into the game. I like not knowing the answer before starting, and as this game differs quite markedly in gameplay design from the FF7-10 block, it may prove to be very interesting. In doing this type of challenge I often learn more about these games, potentially come up with innovative strategies I wouldn't ordinarily need and always end up enjoying the investigation whatever the outcome.
With this type of content continuing to get great support and feedback even after 4 games being covered, I decided to continue on for 1 more adventure and we'll see where we go from here. It's nice to return to FFXII after so many years, and I hope you guys enjoy the series :)
