Can I beat Grim Matchstick on Regular Difficulty WITHOUT ACTUALLY Moving? (Read the description)
3Okay, I have a confession to make... in my other Grim Matchstick no moving video I actually moved a little bit during the final phase if you looked REALLY close at around 1:09 in that video, I didn't notice it at first because I didn't focus on my character and I got WAY TOO excited when I beated him that I didn't realize I moved at that point, and when I looked back at the video and noticed the moving... I was very upset and disappointed that I moved which meant that is not a valid run so I decided to go back to this challenge to see if I can truly beat him without moving and to make sure I wouldn't accidentally move again I disabled the horizontal movement so I wouldn't be able to move left or right accidentally again. I will admit I poorly timed the jumps and EX during the second tail and second phase transition which resulted me in getting hit aswell as me using the wrong EX twice in the final phase but thanks to very good cloud RNG in phases 2 and 3, I was able to truly beat Grim Matchstick on regular difficulty without moving. I apologize deeply for my unawareness of movement in my last attempt I did this, like I said I got way to excited I didn't notice but that isn't an excuse, and ngl... I'm surprised nobody even mentioned it considering that video is released more than half a year ago and with more than 500 views, I could have letted it slide noticing that nobody has brought it up but by doing that it would have left me feeling massively dirty and guilty for something that wasn't truly done.
