This Xbox One S doesn't display correctly when on the TV. It shows flashing lines and marching ants glitching everywhere. I purchased it on Ebay, can we make a profit on it?

I believe the fault is down to a chip called the Retimer/Redriver depending on how you like to say it. I'm pretty sure this has been responsible for a faulty display when it doesn't come down to the HDMI.
