Could giving a human body lower concentrations of oxygen help alleviate the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)?

When triple amputee and British Army veteran Andy Reid began altitude training in preparation to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, he found an unexpected side effect - the 'brain fog' he’d suffered since injury all but disappeared.

Other veterans found the same, giving rise to the question of whether more research should be done into it as a potential therapy.
