In a Stream of Empire: Total War the chat and I came into a conversation about historical recreation - and it soon turned to a monologue of myself.

I do not only dress up fancily for my stream, I join medieval markets and live action roleplays with my groop in germany for more then 15 years now. From the classic start as criss-cross-fantasy band (crusader next to ranger next to barbarian next to Xena) we some time ago tried to switch to a more homogenous appearence, orienting on late 14th century.

So I for myself know that my kit has some good standard, but is by far not complete or authentic in any mean. But when it comes to 100 percent authenticy, for me there is a much larger problem. Then the gear is not everything when it comes to historic recreation ...
