Robot ethics attempt to apply human ethics to robots. It explores the key questions of how to create robots that do not harm humans and who to hold responsible if they do.

One argument states that the robots’ creators should hold responsibility for what the robots do. But the issue is not so black and white, particularly when it comes to lethal robots.
