Like before, sentries will be the main way of avoiding damage. They can soak hits for my team and let me stay back safely. Of course, this won't always work due to varying factors. That's when we'll have to get creative to beat this while maintaining no damage. Maybe the addition of the new character, rabbid yoshi, you unlock for beating the midbosses in world 3 will help.

I still plan on finishing the series and even going back to a previous save of world 1 to try and beat Pirabbid Plant while taking fewer hits than I did before.
