Normal jumping and double jumping are banned. I won't be using the taxi glitch to instantly get to the final boss either for added fun. Can I beat Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated this way?

This leaves the main jump replacement, the bubble bash. It gives Spongebob some decent verticle movement, but the horizontal movement is almost non-existent. Sandy and Patrick don't have any good jump alternatives. Will they be able to help?
