35Can you play 8K 60FPS video files on an Intel NUC? Using a NUC11PAHI7 Panther Canyon i7
So, dead simple, in this video I'm showing that the latest 11th Gen Intel NUC, in this instance the NUC11PAHI7 Panther Canyon i7, is more than capable of playing 8K 60FPS video files.
Bear in mind that the NUC doesn't have a fancy graphics card such as an Nvidia RTX or GTX GPU. No, this is all done using the NUCs iGPU, which is the Intel Xe graphics chip onboard the i7 CPU, or more precisely, whatever version of Intel's Quick Sync Video dedicated video co-processor is being used. The Xe iGPU is based on the Intel DG1 GPU.
Also, this NUC is capable of playing in 8K 60 FPS to an 8K TV or monitor with its HDMI 2.1 output.
