Buy the Quad HDMI at Amazon https://geni.us/BlackmagicQuadHDMI

In this video I'm unboxing the Blacjmagic Design Decklink Quad HDMI, taking a close up look at it and explaining what I'll be using it for.

The Quad HDMI is a HDMI video capture card that has four HDMI inputs. It has no outputs.

It can record 8Bit, 10Bit and even 12Bit at various resolutions resolutions and frame rates.

My use for the card is to be able to record uncompressed 10 Bit 4:2:2 chroma subsampling at 4K UHD 60FPS and 59.94 frames per second.

I will be using this card mostly for video gameplay capture from my Xbox Series X, iPad Pro, new Apple Silicon iPad Pro M1 when it's released, Mac Mini M1 and my various computers, all via their HDMI outputs.

I will also being using the Quad HDMI with OBS and I think that it may be the best HDMI capture interface for OBS Studio.

Here's the example I'm talking about in the video about the game capture and workflow of recording uncompressed and then only ever used a compressed codec right at the end for my YouTube upload file. This video was uploaded H.264 10 Bit 4:2:2 4K UHD 60FPS.
