Developed by Studio Lemi, The Icarus Effect: Gaunt Wars is somewhat of a proof of concept for a longer interactive fiction / choose your own adventure style sci-fi / horror game. Currently, it’s very early in development but the visuals, main story premise and overall feel looks and plays promising. However, I feel like the ambition of this game is currently a big hurdle, since the story feels very rushed towards the end. I think I would have liked this better as a demo.
