A Canadian firearm owner has been charged with murder after a group of guys broke into his home and threatened his life in addition to his mother who was also there. This guy happened to be a licensed firearm owner and was able to defend himself against the intruders. In doing so he fired one shot and killed one intruder, the rest fled soon after. In actual truth, Canada does indeed have a castle law that allows any citizen to protect themselves and their home if someone intrudes onto your property and threatens your life; yet despite this, the man was still charged with murder and amount of money and emotional pain/stress this man will have to go through to be deemed innocent will be unbearable and is flat out unacceptable. People have a right to defend themselves, by any means and tools necessary...
