rd Candy last week introduced a new stylus designed for touch devices, specifically Apple's iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. While a stylus is generally unneeded, there are some specific situations where we find such instruments useful. Not everyone has good dexterity in their fingers, such as the preverbal fat fingers or fingers with limited mobility. Also, some users wish to wear gloves which limits if not eliminate the touch interface.
This stylus offers a number of things we haven't seen in other similar devices. First it acts as a pen, which add utility for carrying it around. It's large in size, which can be a great benefit for those with limited dexterity, although it won't fit as neatly in cases and pockets. It also has a kind of cool retro chrome look to it, and finally, the tip is a soft rubber that flexes for several angles.
