CAN'T TAKE A PENALTY IF YOU'RE AT 1 HP- Actually Beating Shadow Nijima Without Exposing Her Cheating
The moment where she runs out of HP is at 34:00 if you want to skip ahead
Sae Leviathan Nijima, the Lord British Postulate of Persona 5. You may cheat your way through the first part of your boss fight, but that means little to me.
As the title of this video says, the Penalty move does absolutely nothing if you are hit at 1 HP. The only time in which Nijima can KO you is by betting HP. So really, all you need is to heal at that moment and keep attacking.
My strategy for this involves spamming Akechi's Debilitate to keep it going for a long time, even after my SP runs out. From there the plan involves using SP before Nijima depletes it, and finally unloading everyone's ammo on to her.
Of course, that's still not enough, so we do some more attacking and all that.
I relied on the Togo System from Hifumi's confidant to swap party members around much more quickly, and on Futaba's various boosts to speed this up.
This was in Normal difficulty. Imagine on something harder, it might take more than one hour.
