Playthrough with Ryu and Zangief. From what I've gathered, when Capcom Fighting All-Stars was cancelled, this was quickly churned out instead. It was originally released in arcades and then ported to the Playstation 2 and Xbox. The Xbox version had an online mode, but I never got to try it out as nobody ever seemed to play it. I once left it on the matchmaking screen for about an hour and nobody joined, and this was done a few months after the game came out. The online mode doesn't work now any way.

Anyway, the game brings together different characters from different Capcom fighting game series, such as Street Fighter and Darkstalkers. Said characters are all taken from previous games, such as Ryu using his Capcom Vs. SNK sprite, and Jedah using his Vampire Savior sprite. Some sprites were given new or altered animations, such as Zangief's head.

Upon release, Capcom Fighting Jam bombed and was widely criticized for having poor graphics and animation (especially in the backgrounds), weak music, a small character roster and unbalanced gameplay. Xbox owners would be better off with Capcom Vs. SNK 2 or the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. The endings for this game were provided by Udon, who have released lots of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers comics.

I also get the two extra fights. Ingird is a new character who was originally going to be in Capcom Fighting All-Stars. And then I get to fight Shin Akuma after Pyron.
