Capcom vs SNK 2 for the Japanese Sega Dreamcast. The fight continues. Skinner and A-Bomb.
After playing the American version of the first game, we play the Japanese exclusive version for the Dreamcast. A-Bomb's trash talk returns with a vengeance as he went to town on the Agetec arcade stick. We swapped our go-to characters toward the end, and now A-Bomb knows how good Terry Bogard is.
The limited edition of this game came with a "fan disk" that's filled with a collection of artwork for every character in the game, game-save data for Capcom's other Dreamcast titles (19 games) such as Power Stone, Heavy Metal Geomatrix, and Street Fighter ZERO 3, as well as expert replay data for Capcom Vs SNK 2.
I didn't tell A-Bomb about the "Easy Operation" mode in the American ports to other systems, which lets you pull off combos with the right analog stick, until after we played this version. Not surprisingly, he wants a rematch with one of those ports.
Thanks to Front 242 for the intro/outro music.
