In this video, Captain Blood aka L'arche du Captain Blood, released in 1988 for the Atari ST by Ere Informatique.
You play as Bob Morlock, nickname "Captain Blood". While testing its new game for the first time Blood becomes warped inside the "Ark", the spaceship of the very game and he's accidentally splitted into 30 clones. For 800 years, Blood tracks down and re-absorb his vital fluids from 25 clone, but he needs to track-down and kill the last five or he will lose his human life. This is your goal in this game. To find them, you must speak to various aliens and gain their trust using an icon-based interface known as UPCOM. This consists of around 150 icons, each representing a different concept.
This is one of the first ST games I've bought with my 520 back in 1989. The graphics is brilliant, the colors, the fractal generated landscapes, the interface, all are top quality for a 1988's game. The audio is excellent, with a fantastic loading digitized soundtrack taken from "Ethnicolor" by Jean-Michel Jarre and digitized speechs. The playability is ok once you get used to the upcom and the general difficulty of the game.
Here you'll find loading screens with digitized music intro and enraged gameplay due to the alien not being cooperative.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.

Let me know what do you think about the video in the comments below but, most important, Enjoy!!!
