In this video, Days of Thunder, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Mindscape.
This is the tie-in of the famous movie starring Tom Cruise set in the world of Nascar sport cars.
The game consist in multiple phases like setting up the car, qualifying, and driving the race event. If we finish in a high enough position, we can go to the next circuit.
I've never seen the movie, someone told me it was Top Gun on cars, but I've seen and played this game and IMHO it isn't the best racing game I've ever played but it's still playable. The sound unfortunately is bad, the graphics are fast enough and detailed. The playability is ok but could be better.
Here you'll find loading screens and gameplay of qualifying session. I wanted to do also a race but couldn't find out how to end or skip the qualifying session. Sorry.
