8On one side of Windows 95 ready anthropomorphic animal platformer games in the late 90s, you had two major options. One was Epic's Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and the other? Monolith's Captain Claw, or just Claw.
Stephen Weyte now lends his voice to Captain Claw, a fabled cat pirate who swordfights, guns down, lobs sticks of dynamite and unleash his fabled Magic Claw at many of his foes, looking for the Amulet of Nine Lives and the gems powering it. The game itself is a colorful, yet treacherous game where fine control of your protagonist will be necessary to succeed, for instant death scenarios are plenty...
The game's still fun, though. It has many levels and different scenery to visit, the enemy encounters get progressively trickier and smarter as you advance and collecting as much of the treasure as possible is fun for the collecta-thon fans. Just get ready to tear your hair out in the later stages.
