Well, Giga Bowser is a fucking knee magnet and combo fodder, and with Falcon's ability to jump all the way across Final Destination and above Ganondorf's Dark Dive, he can slaughter Giga Bowser really fast, better than anyone outside Jigglypuff and Ganondorf. While Falcon isn't as amazing in the 1 on 2 after Giga Bowser is finished, Falcon will have no problems managing Ganondorf and Mewtwo if you're not terrible with him. Even if you're really bad with Falcon, you could easily evade the CPUs once Giga Bowser is done, and wait around for items, which you will in most cases get before the CPUs do.

Overall, even with just his ability to kill Giga Bowser so well alone, Falcon is top tier at clearing the Showdown, both normally and without stock loss.
