Cardboard Crunchies Commercial (2021)

This was our first assignment for my Art Appreciation class in college. We just had to create any sort of art piece that we wanted, and then make a behind the scenes video on how we made it.
I struggled to come up with an idea for a while, because weirdly, being given complete freedom to choose what I did was a bit overwhelming. I finally decided to just go with a commercial for Cardboard Crunchies, a fake cereal I had come up with years ago. I had been kicking the idea around in my head for a while, so I just went with it since I had no other ideas.
I wanted to use a similar VHS filter as my Google Classroom VHS tape, but since I didn’t have access to Adobe Premiere, I had to use DaVinci Resolve. Most of DaVinci’s filters were locked behind the paid version, so the filter is honestly pretty bad. I included a version with and without the filter, as I like the no filter one better, and I still want to archive the final version I submitted.
