Bard the Dragon Analysis (2021)

This was my final project for my English class in college. We had to make some sort of piece of art or writing that explores an aspect of ourselves.
I really struggled with coming up with an idea for the project, to the point where I missed the deadline. However, I had the idea of just making a video on Bard the Dragon from the Baby Einstein movies, and analyzing why I found him so scary as a child. My teacher approved of the idea, so I spent the next two days solely working on this video.
The script took me a day to perfect, and then the next day I stayed up and worked on the video for about 21 hours straight. You can see where I was able to cut corners, such as the chalk drawings and simple presentation.
My teacher ended up really liking. I couldn’t get full credit since I turned it in late, but I got the most I was able to receive for a late submission. So hey, I’m happy with that.
I still like this video a lot, especially some of the jokes I made. With that said, I definitely want to do an expanded analysis on Baby Einstein someday, without the time constraints of a school project. I have a lot more I want to say, because JESUS those shows were terrifying.
