After working myself really hard during the Corona period and arranging a boatload of Zelda and Animal Crossing pieces I wanted to charge my creative battery a little. Many commenters had noticed the Breath of the Wild soundtrack had quite a Ghibli-esque sound to it, so I decided to seek out some sheet music. Turns out my local library had a book!
This is the theme song of Castle in the Sky, an adventure film by Ghibli that comes as close to perfect as you can get and it's one of my favourite movies. Joe Hisaishi writes music in a typical Japanese jazzy style, though this piece is more classically oriented. I did do an improvisation of course (you know me =P) which is al little more jazzy.
