Castlevania Coming to Commodore Amiga, Again
6Castlevania was one of those titles that stood out against the competition. Years before I had a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) I visited local shops that carried videogames. I noticed the box art almost immediately. It stood out against the other titles, that featured bright colors and bold letter titles. Here was this silver box with this whip wielding guy on the cover. Konami would not bring their whip wielding hero to non-Nintendo platforms until the 16-Bit era. Computers were mostly included in this lack of support; only sporadic releases were made in Japan. Konami did make a port of the original Castlevania for Commodore Amiga.
