5Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (キャッスルヴァニア 白夜のコン奏チェ曲ルト, Kyassuruvu~Ania byakuya no kon sō che-kyoku ruto, lit. 'Castlevania: Midnight Sun Concerto') is an [genre] that was developed and published by Konami for the GameBoy Advance that was released on June 6, 2002 in Japan, and on September 16, 2002 in North America.
Igarashi began the game's development with the intention of making a GBA game that shared similar gameplay to that of Symphony of the Night. Ayami Kojima, who had previously worked on the character designs for Symphony of the Night, designed the characters of Harmony of Dissonance. He also changed developement teams from KCEK (Konami Kobe) who made the previous GBA title Circle of the Moon to KCET (Konami Tokyo).
While Michiru Yamane is mostly known for composing songsn for the Castlevania series, Soshiro Hokkai was the one who composed most of the soundtrack for Harmony of Dissonance with Michiru Yamane creating the additional stage music. Igarashi later lamented that the quality of the music had been "sacrificed" for the quality of graphics present in the game.
